Philadelphia: The Push for March Madness continues on as all the teams across the country are finding their identities and that is what we had on Tuesday night as LaSalle Explorers took on St Bonaventure Bonnies from Tom Gola Arena on the Campus of LaSalle University.
St Bonaventure won the tip to start the game and LaSalle would open the scoring with 3 pointer by Saul Phiri, Bonnie got on the board on basket from Jaylen Adams. LaSalle would have a 5 point lead at 18-13 with 11:02 left on 3 pointer from BJ Johnson, The Bonnies would not lay down and they would come out and just take it to the Explorers. St Bonaventure would get the lead as high as 11 at 42-31 and they would take a 42-32 lead into halftime.
In the second half, The Bonnies would keep the pressure on the Explorers as on three sepetera times they would have a 13 point lead. LaSalle would at one point get the Bonnies lead down to 5 at 57-52 with 10:18 left, Bonnies would make big shots and Explorers would try to keep it close but they would run out of time as the Bonnies would pick up a 79-68 win, With the loss, LaSalle falls to 10-16 (4-9 in A10) and look to rebound from this loss as they take on George Mason on February 17 and the Bonnies now go to 19-6, (9-4 in A10) and this was their 7th win in a row and now head to battle with Rhode Isalnd on February 16.
