Philadelphia PA: The 8-4 Penn Quakers returned to action for the first time since their win over Dayton, back on December 9, as they took on Delaware State from “The Cathedral of College Basketball” The Palestra on the Campus of the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday night.

Delaware State opened the scoring on a basket by Artem Tavakalyan for a 2-0 lead, Penn got on board with a 3-point shot by Ryan Betley. The Quakers would be in full control of this game as they would get the lead as high as 31 as they would lead 55-24 at the half. Penn would shoot 9-16 from 3 PT range in the first half.

Penn would continue where they have left off in the first half, as the lead would go up as high 56 at 102-46 with 3 minutes left in 2nd half. Delaware State just did not manage an answer for Penn; the Quakers would win this game 105-52. Penn would make 14 3 pointers in the game.

Win the win, Penn now goes to 9-4 on the season and now head into battle against Toledo on Friday, December 29 at 4 PM at The Palestra.
