With the preseason one game from completion, coaches are preparing their players for a chance to earn a better role on the team for the regular season. For fringe players, their task is simple: sink or swim. For second-stringers, the task is to earn playing time in sub packages and rotations.

The day after they beat the Green Bay Packers 39-16, the Eagles cut thirteen players, some of whom we pegged to make the final roster.
