Inconsistency is a death sentence to failure. The writing may already be on the wall for Philly.

The Philadelphia Flyers were swamped out of Boston by the Bruins Saturday. Philadelphia conceded three goals in the first period, and never recovered. After blowing a 4-1 lead over Pittsburgh Thursday, Philadelphia has now surrendered seven unanswered goals.

Midway through the opening at, Kimmo Timonen was sent to the penalty box. Tyler Seguin scored on a 24ft wrist shot past the slumping Ilya Bryzgalov. The Bruins took a 1-0 lead, and never looked back.

Chris Kelly and Daniel Paille would beat Bryzgalov in the span of 43 seconds. The Flyers never recovered, and left Boston slaughtered.

The Flyers fell to 11-14-1, and will face Buffalo Sunday, 7:30 PM at the Wells Fargo Center.
