The Flyers are running low on time, and low on scoring.

Once again this season, Philadelphia mustered only one goal in a 4-1 loss to the Canadiens.

In the second night of a back-to-back, Brian Boucher got the start in goal. Brendan Gallager and David Desharnais scored two straight goals in the first and second periods. Then, Danny Briere took responsibility and scored one back. Suddenly, there was life.

Unfortunately, it did not last. The Canadiens scored two unanswered goals, including an empty-netter in the final two minutes to seal the Flyers fate.

Philadelphia falls to 6-9-1, and they will travel to New York to face the Islanders Monday, 1:00 PM at the Nassau Coliseum.
