The Devils now have a six-game winning streak over the Flyers. Friday night was the latest installment.

The Philadelphia Flyers fell to the New Jersey Devils 5-3. The Flyers blew a two goal lead, and dropped to 6-8-1.

After a Devils’ goal 40 seconds into the first period, the Flyers roared back. Wayne Simmonds, Mike Knuble, and Matt Read scored. Suddenly, the Flyers held a commanding 3-1 lead.

It went downhill from there. The Devils scored four unanswered goals, including a Dan Clarkson game-winner in the third.

The Flyers fell to 6-8-1, and will face Montreal at 7:00 PM in the Bell Centre.
