Bailey O’Neill is an 11-year old who is a BIG Philadelphia Sports fan, and watches all the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers games with his father, Rob O’Neill.

Bailey attends Darby¬†Township Elementary School¬†and was beat up by some bullies at his school on January 10th. Thinking nothing of it, the school sent him home with only an ice pack for his bruises. About a week later, Bailey began having severe continuous seizures and was immediately taken to the hospital. Bailey’s doctors immediately diagnosed his injuries as very serious, thus they placed a breathing tube in him and put him into a medically induced coma to stop the seizures. Bailey has been in a medically induced coma for the past two weeks. The doctors periodically bring him out the induced coma while using different medications but each time they have been unable to control the seizures and were forced to put in him in the induced coma once again. During this time, Bailey’s father has already missed a substantial amount of work, and will miss even more time in the future.

Now here is how you can help:

Bailey’s father, Rob O’Neil, and his girlfriend, Ashlie Buchanan, are holding a Beef & Beer Fundraiser for Bailey’s medical costs and other expenses during this time on Saturday, February 16th at Kelly Monaghan Pub (414 Powhattan Avenue, Essington, Pennsylvania 19029).
